Rooftop Garden Bed Weed Matting & Planting

The Situation

This Surfers Paradise commercial high rise building had a rooftop garden bed that kept filling with weeds, threatening the building's required percentage of green space. The garden bed needed to be fully restored to compliance.

What We Did

Working with full harness equipment on the rooftop with a secured exclusion zone established on the ground below, Dean and Kris removed and sprayed all existing weeds across the entire garden bed, installed a complete weed mat to suppress future weed growth long-term and planted succulents throughout the restored bed. Bringing the rooftop garden back to full green space compliance and a clean, well presented standard in a single working day.
